Judges Rafa

Rafael Barros, 30, and Carine Morais, 34, are the current Octa-Salsa World Champions. Championships won between 2010 and 2016, titles won at the World Salsa Open in Puerto Rico, No World Latin Dance Cup in Miami, Six Degrees Competition in Canada and World Salsa Championship in Atlanta. Championships bringing together the best professionals from Europe and the Americas. The victory puts Brazil at the center of the world salsa and makes the country an important reference for ballroom dancing.

With almost nine years of partnership, Rafael and Carine stand out for the skillful technique and musicality, but, above all, for the harmony of their dances. Required teachers and choreographers, since 2005 teach classes in the most important dance congresses in Brazil and the World. Among them are the congresses of Argentina, Italy, Guatemala, Uruguay, Chile, Australia, Portugal, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Suriname, Puerto Rico, Canada, Turkey, India, Panama, China, Canary Islands, Thailand, Spain, Lebanon, the United States, Greece and Switzerland.
